The philosophy of psychology
In general, the philosophy of psychology has pursued two outlets. The first to suggest that life is empirical and can be measured and observed on a material level. This philosophy holds that every system is composed of matter that can be seen through physical observation and observed through the senses. Therefore, everything that exists in man can be measured on a physical level for all aspects of human existence. An important point of this philosophical ideology is that everything is based on experience, external input and genetic disposition. These together form the entire foundation of the psyche. Therefore, elements that appear to extend beyond the limits of the physical and observable level of existence are either imagined or not yet proven through empirical observation.
Contrary to empirical belief, the philosophy that humans are composed of elements that are beyond the scope of human physical structure. Although material components contribute to our existence, there are many features of man that cannot be measured with a microscope or electromagnetic scan. Although these traits are not composed of the same material as the human body, they exist in their own dimension and retain their own qualities that allow them to exist. One of the primary examples of an element found in its own form is consciousness. Under the definition of non-empirical philosophy, consciousness is part of human life, but is not only contained within man, nor can it be found within the structures of the brain. Rather, it is a field of existence that permeates all of creation, but looks like separate entities as they filter through the structure of individual entities, such as a human being. Therefore, it is a part of man, but not limited to the human structure Maryna Kovaltchuk Life Coach/ Counsellor.
For the most part, empirically based psychology believes that consciousness is a component of the brain and that a spirit, or entity connected to a higher source, does not exist. Everything that is experienced and seen in the individual can be explained within the physical content of man. Therefore, the understanding and understanding of the functions of the human psyche are mainly sought in the study of brain through sciences such as neuropsychology. This forms the basis for the more extended studies of behavioral, developmental and cognitive psychology. Also See: Yoga Psychology, Human Psyche, Human Life, Based Psychology, Psychology, Human, Yoga
