Louis Moinet launches Geograph: Australian Edition

Australia Day, celebrated on 26th of January 2013 was a very special day for Louis Moinet brand and its target public as it marked the launching of a very special limited edition that includes 30 valuable pieces paying tribute to some of the most famous Australian icons: Captain James Cook, the Southern Cross and the colours of the national flag. The wonderful works of art feature second time zone indicated by serpentine hand, hours and minutes indicated by central Gouttes de Rosée hands and red, white and blue dials that evoke the Australian flag. Moreover, the lower part of the case-back includes engravings of a map and a sailing ship, which is a very innovative way of paying tribute to explorer and Captain James Cook. Even the blue strap is beautifully crafted from Louisiana alligator leather with alligator lining, all hand-sewn.
