Moisture can also cause your new rug to begin to fade quickly, so if your rugs become wet for any reason, be sure to get it dried out immediately. Traffic- High foot traffic is the number one reason why rugs get dirty. Try to strategically place your new rug in an area in the home where foot traffic is less intense.
