Our mother nature has provided us everything what we have in some way or other. Whether it is the food, clothes to wear and a place to live in, everything is taken from the Mother Nature. But human beings are not so thankful for the gifts given to us by the nature. He is spoiling it by the poisonous gases like CFC and HCFC, which should be changed by HCFC and CFC replacement chemicals in order to protect the environment. We can do a lot to protect the environment around us like the following steps:
• Use CFL bulbs: regular bulbs and tube lights consume more energy and give out carbon. Hence try to use the compact fluorescent light bulbs or commonly known as the CFL bulbs. They do not consume much energy and do not give out carbon like the traditional ones do. Moreover these advanced lighting solutions last much longer than the traditional bulbs so you can save your money too.
• Safe refrigerants: in industries, homes, cars and almost everywhere refrigerants are used to provide cooling. If the refrigerant is made up CFC and HCFC then it will harm the environment. Hence try to use the enviro safe refrigerant and products which are made from naturally occurring chemicals.
• Save fuel: fuel like petrol, gasoline and other fossil fuels are used all around the world to drive the cars, buses, bikes and other vehicles. These fuel releases several poisonous gases like carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide which are harmful to the nature and our health as well thus try to walk as much as possible instead of taking car. For longer distance take public transit services to save fuel and environment.
• Hydrocarbon gas: these gases occur naturally in the environment thus they can easily dissipate in the atmosphere without harming the living beings and the nature. Try to use hydrocarbon gases as much as possible in their refined state so that they are completely safe for the environment.
• Turn off: try to make this your habit now if you want to go green. Turn off the electrical or mechanical equipments if you are not using them. Do not leave them on the standby mode as it will keep on consuming the electricity. Try to do this along with R290 refrigerant replacement which also saves energy consumption. It is also helpful in reducing your electricity bill.
