The online art community is committed to promote recycled art

Recycled art might have been an isolated phenomenon and might have disappeared quickly without the involvement of the online art community. Many artists have promoted recycled crafts online, inviting people to follow their example and reuse objects they would have rather thrown out. Many websites with “how to” sections have shown people how to recycle certain objects and give them completely new values. These step by step tutorials have succeeded to make ordinary people feel like novice artists. The most dedicated of them felt that inner passion that might transform them into real artists. They continued to study and exercise and perform.

Recycling is a must of these times when the society throws out so many objects that trash has become a real problem. People buy lots of things, most of them because they are cheap, not because they would really need them. This way, the garbage has invaded the planet and has put at risk the health of the environment. It is now the eleventh hour for mankind to manage this problem of trash and avoid being buried under all this garbage that we see everywhere around us.

Instead of buying lots of things and then throw them out because of their uselessness, humans could give some objects new meanings and reuse them. The recycled crafts are a great resource that we could use if we did not lack a little imagination and some minimal skills. If we are helpless with respect to transform little objects that surround us and are future candidates to trash, we can use the “do it yourself” sections that the online art community generously puts at our disposal on dedicated websites. Hundreds or even thousands of ideas can be found on such websites, which will allow us to make apparently useless objects useful. It is not a difficult to follow the detailed directions you can find there and the more you exercise the more you will enjoy doing it.

This demarche of the online art community is a great social event because it contributes to making our lives better. It emerges from the necessity of having a healthier environment, without mountains of garbage which affect everything around them. By promoting recycled art, the artists follow two main directions. The first one is that they reuse some of the disposed objects and provide them with a completely new value and function. The second direction is determined by the need of educating people to pay more attention to what they do with the objects they intend to throw out. This way, the responsible artists contribute to a healthier planet and to a better awareness of its inhabitants related to how nature can be preserved.

The online art community has an important role in promoting recycled crafts and educating people to manifest a responsible attitude towards environmental issues. This is a difficult role that artists have assumed as having a better vision of this planet’s future.
