Cheap discount software ? where to buy Adobe CS6 and office 2010 buying options

Purchasing software is expensive.  Since there was so much piracy in the past, the cost of buying the software has gone up quite a bit.  Licensing regulations have gotten stricter too.  It has left people searching the internet for cheap discounts on software.

So what are your options?  You can look for used copies of software, but there is a huge risk in buying used copies.  You can also look for other cheap discount software titles by searching for OEM copies.  What is an OEM copy?  It is a full version of the program, complete with all proper licensing.  It only lacks the books and manuals that accompany full suites.

OEM copies cut back dramatically on manufacturing costs.  Therefore, the savings are passed on to you.  For example, purchasing one license for Office 2010 completely will run you around $399.  If you purchase the OEM version instead, you will likely pay around $79.  That’s an 80% savings.  You can’t complain about that pricing.

Adobe CS6 and other graphics programs are also high end software programs.  You can get monstrous discounts by spending a little time finding an OEM version or another good deal online.  Some companies will even let you download the program instead of receiving a disk.  You save on shipping costs as well as manufacturing costs when you choose to download.

If you do opt for the download option, make sure to backup your software on a disk.  If your hard drive goes bad you need to have a copy of the program stored someplace other than the computer.  Cheap discount software does not do you any good if you lose your only copy.  Depending on how long it’s been since you bought it, you may have to buy it again.

If you don’t want to go with downloads or OEM software because you prefer to have the books that go with it, you may consider buying a student version of the program.  It will be more expensive than OEM but cheaper than the professional version.  Microsoft Office 2010 is $139 for a student version.  That’s still a big savings from the $399 for professional.

Since Microsoft is one of the strictest companies about licensing, make sure you are buying a new license.  They do have discounts for things like Office 2010 if you buy several licenses at one time.  Doing it this way is called buying a site license.  It gives you so many licenses to use at one specific location like your home or your office.

And lastly, when buying cheap discount software, check your sources.  Only buy from reliable sources.  If you purchase from some company that has a price dramatically lower than everyone else, don’t trust it.  It is likely a copy of the original program.  Read the fine print.  Remember, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

New OEM Software is a software distribution company that offers popular software programs at discounted prices.  All titles are new and carry a limited manufacturer’s warranty.  Because they are OEM products, you can save up to 80% off retail!
