Strategic card game Hell Invaders coming this fall to PC, Mac, Linux, tablets fr

Hell Invaders, a hybrid of a collectible card game and a real-time strategy title Diablo 3 Gold, is in development at Spicy Horse and will be available this fall on Windows PC, Mac, Linux and tablets, the studio announced today.

Shanghai-based Spicy Horse, best known for Akaneiro: Demon Hunters and Alice: Madness Returns, said in a press release that Hell Invaders is a working title and that the studio doesn't have a publisher yet.

Hell Invaders brings card battles to life with 3D-rendered creatures that duke it out in an in-game arena as opposed to on a digital table. The digital cards will offer features like ability upgrades and swappable skills for characters. The game will include a single-player campaign as well as PvP battles. When players aren't fighting, they can manage their collections and trade cards with others, along with additional social features.
