The good thing about choices is that people can pick the product or service that fits their budget. A good example is handbags. Those who don’t will have to be content with shared seedbox.

The primary advantage of dedicated over shared seedbox is the resources allocated. In the former, all the resources are given to the sole user. With the latter, the resources have to be shared with others. Sharing becomes disadvantageous when all the users are using at the same time. The bandwidth, CPU and RAM is shared and will therefore be split in several ways. However, the main advantage is the cost. It has always been cheaper if people share the bill. With the dedicated seedbox, the user has to shoulder the monthly cost alone. He will also have to add extra for a windows server. Nevertheless, users of shared seedbox can also have a dedicated experience. If the users are from different time zones, they might not use the seedbox all at once. They may have different schedules and will hardly notice that they are actually sharing resources.
