The rising population and the poverty cause the poor people to lead a miserable life full of struggles, miseries and worries. The situation is the same in all countries irrespective of the developed and underdeveloped countries.  People who are homeless, who have nobody to take care of, children without their parents and lonely elders who cannot help themselves - all need help from the good minded people to survive in this world.

NGO’s from all over the world dedicate themselves for various noble causes towards the welfare of the destitute people especially orphaned children, destitute women and senior citizens.   Though Governments of all countries have come out with better reforms and lawful activities in protecting the status of women and their empowerment, there is the urgent need for the NGO organizations to take active part in supporting the governments and their country widows and children.

Many NGO organizations in India work for the betterment of the young children and their education. Since poor children, who have no elders to take care of, tend to work to satisfy their needs and cannot think of education, these NGO organizations advocate many projects like sponsoring a child, providing help to go to school, inspiring the children, conducting night schools and free tuitions and many more.

Regarding women, destitute, widows and aged persons the NGO organizations trying hard to bring back the equal status for women in society. Women empowerment is the main underlying concept for all the NGO projects that center around them and their children. Widows and their children demand a huge attention in the society and only various types of NGOs and their organizations have done a considerable change in the lives of many poor and destitute women all over the world.

These NGOs collect funds in all possible methods to steer their way in taking care of the widows and young children. They conduct exhibitions and programs, sell things, invite VIPs and indulge in all sorts of fund raising activities to nurture the lives under their responsibility.  All sorts of sponsoring is of immense help to these NGO organizations which they try to get from the public. Sponsoring education fees, books, toys, clothes, money, medical care, provisions and groceries and every other need is collected from the public and are utilized for the welfare of the widows and children.

An NGO from India has come up with a novel idea in their endeavor to fulfill the needs of the women and children. They help the women and children to lead family lives with real affection and bondage towards each other. Widows and destitute young women are made to take care of several orphaned children with one middle aged and one senior aged woman. This family consists of children, mother, aunt and grandmother.
