Here are a few ideas of what you can do with your sweetheart while you are in Venice.

So you probably think of gondolas when you think of Venice, right? Well, sure they are romantic but they’re also pretty much a standard thing for tourists to do. If you want to try something different, go for a water taxi. A water taxi can take you from the airport right to your destination in Venice in record time.

Rent an Apartment

If you are going to be staying in Venice for a few days, you might be able to rent an apartment. Hotels in Venice are so popular that they are not really anything that will blow your socks off. If you are going to stay for at least four days, you can rent an apartment. An apartment will likely give you more room and cost less than a hotel. You will definitely enjoy living in an apartment instead of a hotel so make sure to see what apartment living is all about.

Dine in Instead of out

Of course you want to try all of the food that Venice has to offer at their restaurants, but you should also consider shopping at the market. Nothing is more romantic than enjoying a night in with your sweetheart. The Rialto market has the freshest seafood, fruit, veg, and meat. Stay in and cook up a meal that will leave both of you breathless. And since you are staying in instead of going out, clothing is optional!
