The best soccer games of all time

Posted by LauraDerbyshire on August 5th, 2020

After a long and arduous wait for FIFA 12 to arrive, I have compiled and reviewed the best football (or soccer if you prefer) games of all time. The games chosen have been selected for various reasons, you may agree with my choices, you may not, but chances are each list is different in some way or form.

1. FIFA series

In 1993, when the first FIFA game was released, the graphics and animation of the players were a million miles from the polished movements of the players and the facial details that we now expect. You simply moved a drop around a green block field. Looking back and comparing it to our games we have now, you tell yourself what we were thinking about. But knowing that we had hours and hours of fun was what made FIFA for me! Over the years, what has improved? Off the field, the face and appearance of the menu improve every year, and much faster than his slow old self. FIFA has introduced an administrator mode and a definitive team mode lately, and it seems to be having a big impact on FIFA. On the field, the graphics and the game engine have been greatly improved. What's worse? In my opinion, nothing has gotten worse, it just needs adjustments and updates, for example, wind control and ball control is still not so realistic, but I am sure they will do it soon. Over the years, it shows that they have jumped a big gap, you can actually know who you are playing and it seems that you are watching ผลบอลสด 7m.

2. Championship manager

Championship Manager is a series of international soccer management games and was first released in 1992. The launch of the first version of the game was not an outstanding success due to people's ignorance of such games, and sales they were constant rather than astronomical. However, this soon changed and today the renowned Football Manager franchise now has an army of dedicated fans, including myself, who literally live, breathe, and sleep Championship Manager (much to the chagrin of close family members, friends, and generally! anyone who knows you!) For me, it was Championship Manager 99/00 that really started my passion. The simplicity of managing your favorite team was a breath of fresh air; Being able to bring in those star players you wish your manager would sign while nurturing your favorite academy players was a big part of my growth. Today, the series has reached an incredible depth of detail, with the in-game exploration network being so detailed and accurate that it is used by professional clubs with lower budgets to explore potential transfer targets, as well as players and staff from the opposition. With the game of soccer constantly evolving, and the Championship Manager series evolving with it, I can only see a golden era for this type of soccer strategy game. And I love it!

3. PES series

Pro Evolution Soccer is a brilliant game, but it has always been behind FIFA, except for one year, Pro Evolution Soccer 3, I was impressed with the improvements and you could see that the creators put all their effort into this game to make it bigger and best. Pro Ev 3 made full use of everything PlayStation had to offer with graphics and player movements that we made and smoothed out. You no longer felt like you were in a game room playing on a joystick, you enjoyed FIFA more, I enjoyed this game so much that I spent my life on it when it launched. But in my opinion, this was the highest point in the series and decreased from PES5 onwards.

4. Sensitive football

Sensible Soccer was one of the first soccer games to really hit the mark. While the graphics don't seem to have gotten that far since pong compared to FIFA 12, in the early '90s those little spots were innovative. However, Sensible Soccer's main attraction was not in the graphics; It was an exceptional game. The fact that anyone could choose a controller and play the game at a reasonable level, but the game still left room for serious gamers to develop and become masters. But best of all, you even had the right player names. There is no need to cheer Bryan Goggs on Sensible Soccer.
