Vodka Lemonade

A glass of fresh lemonade is something that is never turned down in a hot summer day. Treat your guests with the conventional lemonade, only with a twist of strong taste in it. For a jug of vodka lemonade, use 6 lavender heads, hot water, 2 large lemons, 15 tablespoons of vodka and 75 gm of granulated sugar. Put lavender in a boiling pot of water and set it aside. In a saucepan, add water and sugar to taste, set to boil until the sugar dissolves and remove from fire. Pour in lemon juice and then add the lavender to the hot mixture. Refrigerate the beverage, mix in vodka and serve over ice cubes.

Grapefruit Margarita

For this, you’ll need 2 squashed grapefruit, some pink sea salt (Himalayan), 3 ounces of tequila, some orange liqueur, lime juice and crystallized honey. Put ice cubes in a shaker and add all the ingredients at once. Garnish a serving glass by rubbing rum long the border with crystallized honey. Strain and serve cold. While this is chiefly vodka based because of tequila, you can experiment with a dash of whisky instead, to give it a strong flavor.

Watermelon Mojito

Watermelon, the favorite summer fruit is perfect to use in cocktails for a healthy drink with a seasonal twist. Assimilate cubed and deseeded watermelons, mint springs, whisky 2 ounces, simple syrup, freshly made lime juice, lime wedges and carbonated water. Add watermelon juice and mints at first and then pour in the rest of the ingredients excluding the wedges and carbonated water. You can us the syrup depending on how sweet you want the drink to be. Transfer the beverage in a Collins glass bottomed with ice, and carefully pour in carbonated water from the top. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a straw. Instead of whisky, you can also use white rum to prepare the drink.

Whisky Sour Mix

This is simple, as long as you get the sour and sweet in right proportions. Mix sugar and water in measures of three cups and bring it to boil until the sugar melts. Add 2 cups to lime and lemon juice to the cooled solution and put it in the freezer to chill. Serve with whisky.

Peach Vodka

This is a brilliant-looking clear whisky-colored drink with a cherry afloat. Pour in the peach favored Russian liquor, simple syrup, Chambord and a Maraschino cherry in a Martini shaker with ice and serve cold.
