The rich creamy white Russian recipe is a favorite of all and ideal for every occasion. A star drink that can be relished both before and after dinners, this nutritious one adds flavor to any occasion and brings delight to the drinkers. However, considering its amazing flavor and rich taste, its recipe is surprisingly easy and simple. Especially when compared to a range of other cocktail recipes, the white Russian can be made every easily without even needing a pile of ingredients. It’s amazing how in spite of everything, it tastes so delicious and fulfilling.
The White Russian Recipe
This amazingly delectable drink is made of only three ingredients, vodka, whipped cream and Kahlua. You can also use milk instead of cream or light cream if you want to brew it low-fat. You’ll need 1 and a half ounce of Kahlua and Vodka and 3 ounces of whipped cream for each serving. Pour the ingredients in a rock glass filled with ice cubes one by one starting with clear vodka, followed by the coffee liqueur. Top it up with the cream so that the color appears like dark coffee at the bottom and fresh white towards the top. Among all other cocktail recipes, this is the simplest one and is preferred for its high nutritional value.
Another extremely tempting and yummy cocktail is the S’Mores Martini. Made of a combination of chocolate and cream with a splash of vodka, this drink is ideal for those who are addicted to chocolates of all sorts. However, this one belongs to the complicated cocktail recipes category because of its variety of content and steps of brewing. Get 2 ounces of marshmallow vodka and cream with 1 ounce of Graham cracker, chocolate liqueur, molten chocolate and Crème de Cacao. Have 3 Marshmallows handy for garnishing. A kind reminder before you proceed is that the process involves more steps than the white Russian recipe.
Start with grinding the Graham’s cracker with your hands into small chunks. Preheat the oven and let the molten chocolate get a little hot and light and dip the martini glass rim in it and the cracker. When the side looks marinated, refrigerate the empty glass for a few minutes. Use a cocktail shaker to mix the rest of the ingredients and pour the beverage in the chilled glass with several ice cubes in it. Use a skewer to poke in the marshmallows and toast it under a gentle flame for a couple of minutes. Garnish the margarita by placing them in a pick inside the creamy fluid.
The drink is not just worth savoring, but also quite filling. As mentioned in the white Russian recipe, you can use light cream in order to cut down on the calories. However, a warning for the drinkers is that you cannot be satisfied with just one.
