When you compare stainless steel to some other materials, you would be amazed to find that the appliances made out of stainless steel are much rugged and long lasting for continuous usage. They have a high durability. The cleaning process is quite easy and can be safely done at home. If you need to make it look good, the maintenance should be done at regular period but it is not a hectic work at all. Since stains and patches are a usual part of using the stainless steel vessels and other utensils, maintenance at regular intervals is very much necessary. Stainless steel is seen to form a major part of the utensils and the appliances used in most of the households.

•Properties

The main reasons for such great utility are its property of heat conductance and anti corrosion. The appliances heat up very fast and thus there is a lesser consumption of energy. Another big advantage of using such utensils is that they do not form any layer of rust on itself even if exposed to moist air for a longer period of time. At the same time fingerprints may easily form on the utensils but they can be easily washed out within minutes.

•Method of cleaning

There is a specific method that needs to be followed while cleaning the stainless steel vessels and other utensils. The cleaning should be done in a direction of the grain structure present on the utensils. This makes the cleaning task easier and more over the shiny appearance of the utensils remain as it is. With the help of a close look and thorough visual inspection, you can follow the direction of the grain structure. The grain structures are nothing but some sort of lines running in a particular direction.

•Removing utensil stains

The cleaning methods can be executed within minutes and removing watermarks is not an issue if you use some mild detergents for the cleaning process. The washing should be done with lukewarm water, but after the washing is done entirely, you must always remember to dry the vessels with a piece of dry cloth. This will wipe the utensil tidily and thus give back the shine removing all the stains. After the washing is done, it is better to store them in a cabinet where air doesn’t make space very easily. Thus there would be no accumulation of dust as well. Before you plan to reuse the vessel after taking out of the cabinet, you can use a piece of semi dry cloth to remove all the dirt particles that might have accumulated on the utensil over the past few days.

Follow the right rules and regulation to keep the stainless steel vessels neat and clean.
