Complete Project of Briquette PlantPosted by Deepi on December 6th, 2013 In India, during 20 to 30 years, the briquette industry has been developed and at present it has impressed its importance among the world’s industries. Biomass today accounts for over one-third of all energy used in the developing countries. The estimated power generation potential from biomass in India is about 19000 MW. Briquette plant is a simple project of converting agro waste to bio coal. It is a project of best form waste material. Briquette machinery is capable of binding any agro forestry waste into finished product which is known as white coal or biomass briquette. This project is feasible where green waste or biomass is available within the surrounding area and can be available in abundant quantity with cheaper rate. Biomass or other agro forestry waste are gathered and compressed under high pressure in the briquette press machine then it converts into finished product. If raw material size up to 25mm then crushing and drying process is needed. Raw materials like groundnut shells, almond shells, coffee husk, tea husk, cotton salk and bagasse are used in briquetting process. The briquetting of biomass is more appropriate, cost effective, locally available, replicable, easy to make and Environment friendly technology which is currently growing in demand. The general objective of the study was to develop a briquette press appropriate for rural communities of developing countries; in terms of its operating technicalities and socio-economic requirements. It is the complete binder less technology and that’s why this project is economically viable. The finished product biomass briquettes have high specific density (1200kg/m3) and bulk density (800kg/m3) compared to loose biomass and required very low ash content. There are two types of briquette plant available depending upon the production capacity: Jumbo 90 briquette press machine: 1500kg/hr Super 70 briquette press machine: 750kg/hr Features of this briquette plant:
After the discussion now we can conclude that briquette plant project is great for poor people and developing countries. The briquette with satisfactory qualities was produced using the developed briquetting machine. Briquette plant can produce heat required for household cooking and small scale industrial cottage application. Like it? Share it!More by this author |
