Decoding Your Dreams-What Does It Mean to Dream?

Posted by Livepsychics on December 20th, 2013

It’s often debated what our dreams mean for us and those that are associated in our lives at the time of the dream. Everyone has dreams, but what is the true meaning of the dreams you have?  For most of us our dreams leave us more confused, leaving us to try to piece together what it means and filling our heads with questions like what, who, and why when we fall asleep.  Doing a quick search online will reveal that one thing everyone can agree on when it comes to dreams, they all have different meanings for different people.  Depending on what questions you have about your dreams you should certainly get in touch with a psychic that can provide you with an in-depth psychic reading to get a better understanding of what your dreams mean.

What many people don’t realise is that 90 per cent of our dreams are forgotten within the first 10 minutes of waking up. This means that if you don’t write down your dreams the moment you wake up its highly likely that you will forget your dream by the time you enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning.  It’s also widely speculated that women have a larger variety of dreams than men which could be a reason why more women report having nightmares than men do and that they also are more likely to report emotional dreams as well as having a difficult time falling asleep at night. So what does it really mean to dream one of the following dreams?

  • Falling: If you dream you are falling it could mean that you may be suffering from anxieties, insecurities, or even some type of instability in your life.  You may feel overwhelmed with your home life, work life or something else may be stressing you out.
  • Naked: This is quite a common dream for people to have, the fear of walking around at work or school and realising that you are naked could be that you are reflecting your feelings or vulnerability of shamefulness.  Perhaps you have something to hide and you fear that people can see through your lies. It could also mean that you are unprepared for a project at work or school.
  • Flying: For those that awaken after they have had the dream of flying usually will report a sense of feeling liberated, joyful or evening having a sense of feeling as though they have accomplished something special. Depending on whether you were experiencing any difficulties in flying or not depends on where you might actually be in your life.
