Generally, Candida is not a major problem. Candida is fungal yeast that is naturally present in the body. It is usually present in the mouth, the gut and on the skin. In women it is found in the vagina too. In fact it aids in digestion and absorption. It is a quiet kind of yeast that doesn’t cause any issues except when it has an overgrowth and this is when it can be an irritant. Various Candida symptoms can then be experienced. However, there is a Candida treatment that combat these symptoms.

Candida, when it has an overgrowth converts its shape from round to an elongated or mycelial form. It then breaks down the mucosal walls of the gastrointestinal tract. As a result of this, antigens and toxins are released into the bloodstream and cause problems. This overgrowth can be caused by various factors such as  consuming food that’s rich in sugar and carbohydrates, as well as consuming large amounts of  alcohol that can lead to stress. Overgrowth can happen when someone uses oral contraceptives. Overgrowth can also happen when someone consumes medicines that kill good bacteria that keep Candida growth in check.

There are various symptoms associated with Candida. It can cause issues with digestion as well as constipation and diarrhea. It can cause various infections like toenail fungus and athlete’s foot. Several skin infections like eczema, rashes and psoriasis can also be Candida symptoms. Infections in the urinary tract, the rectal region, and the vagina can also be caused. Not to mention, it can lead to mood swings, depression and the feeling of tiredness. The craving for sugary food is intense because sugar is what Candida thrives on.

The easiest way to treat Candida is to reduce the intake of sugar and carbohydrates. It’s important not to eliminate carbohydrates and sugar from diet completely, but instead, reduce intake in a gradual manner. However, before taking action, it’s imperative to first confirm there is in fact a Candida overgrowth.  Diagnosis can be achieved through various testing, such as blood, urine and stool tests.

Another Candida treatment is Coconut oil.  Coconut oil is   rich in caprylic acid which has the ability to puncture the walls of Candida cells and kill them. Inflammatory food should be completely eliminated from the diet so that the gastrointestinal tract heals.

There are also some natural remedies for Candida treatment. Candigest Plus is considered a very effective natural product for the treatment of Candida. Along with these natural medicines it’s recommended to consume probiotics that promote the growth of good bacteria. Some people also recommend the use of oregano oil but the only problem with this oil is that it also kills good bacteria. So it might be worth opting for coconut oil instead.

Physicians are usually not too concerned about Candida unless the Candida symptoms are acute and overgrowth has occurred in people that suffer from HIV AIDS.  Because there are a number of Candida treatment options available, it’s possible to treat the infection and symptoms.

Candida symptoms are rather pronounced and one can diagnose them easily. Candida problems rarely become acute because there are easy candida treatment methods available.
