Movie After much anticipation about the fate of the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey”, the love story written by Erica James and its adaptation for the big screen, directed by Sam Taylor Johnson, the fans and the followers of the “50 Shades Movie” trilogy can now heave a sigh of relief. The movie will finally see the light of day and will be released on the 13^th of February 2015. But why did this movie’s fate hang in the balance? Though it is now known to all that the cast of the movie comprises Jamie Dornan as the sadistic pleasure loving Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as his submissive partner, many may not know that this coveted role, that of the self made billionaire, first went to Charlie Hunnam, the noted cast member of the television series “Sons of Anarchy”. But citing date problems and his commitment to the television series, Hunnam had to walk out after only a few weeks.

Post that, it was a trying time for the casting team, as they scouted every possible opportunity to find the next Christian Grey and start shooting. After dispelling rumours that the film would be shelved for lack of an actor who would play the role of the dynamic businessman and entrepreneur, the casting team and Erica James welcomes Irish actor and model, Jamie Dornan as the new (and might we say improved) Christian Grey. Soon after, the cast and the crew packed their bags and were off to Canada to start shooting this February 2015 release. The cast, which now sports an Oscar winner and a singer/songwriter, is now ready to shift base to Canada, just like their Ana and Grey have already done, and continue shooting.

Among the first scenes that were shot in Canada, was the ‘contract scene’. For those who have read the trilogy or even the first part, will know that the pair embarks on a kinky and BDSM inspired relationship, which is just like a business arrangement and a deal, replete with non-disclosure agreements and contracts and when the businessman Grey, gives his docile partner, the virginal college graduate Ana a copy of the contract in a brown envelope, the fans could only see the palpable chemistry between the two, as the Ana walked away with her copy, dressed in red, wearing a camel coloured belted trench coat. But the scene did not end there, as she turned towards the Irish hunk one more time and before driving off in her car, she gently planted a kiss on his cheeks.
