Some Reasons Why Establishments Install Beam Seating

Beam seating is used in waiting areas, theaters, lecture halls, and any place where permanent seats for a large number of people are required. Why do businesses choose to use beam seating instead of using more comfortable chairs and sofas?

1. Beam seating takes up a lot less room than the traditional furnishings do. Chairs, love seats, and sofas, have individual frames. The frames of these pieces make them require more room than if the seats all shared one frame. In order to put a larger number of seats in an area the owners choose the ones that share a common framework, or that bolt to a beam.

2. Beam seating is safer for the public to sit in. This type of seat will not tip over if more pressure is applied to the back portions of the chairs. This means that should a child be leaning over the back of the seat the seat will not turn over. Safety is a major concern to all businesses, so the fact that the chair will not tip over makes it safer than the individual seats are.

3. The seats that share a common framework are more sanitary than the ones that have individual frames. The seats positioned on beams have fewer legs under them obstructing the cleaning crew. So the trash that is deposited under the seats is easier to identify, and easier to sweep up. Anytime an area is kept cleaner is considered to be more sanitary. All business owners want their establishments to be as clean, and sanitary as possible.

4. The seats that share a common framing system are cheaper to purchase than the more traditional seats. When you purchase a common frame system you will pay a lesser price than you would if you purchased individual chairs that were capable of seating the same number of people.

5. Replacing the damaged seats is easy to do on the common framing system. The maintenance crew will simply unbolt the seat from the frame and then install a replacement. It will take only a few minutes to accomplish this task. The replacement seat is a lot cheaper than replacing traditional chairs.

6. Row seating looks more attractive, and provides the visitor with a better view of the main focal point in the room. You can establish row seating on raised tiers so that each row of people will have an unobstructed view of the main focal point in the area. This makes the patrons that are occupying the seats happier.

7. This type of chairs cannot be moved, repositioned, or lifted up easily. This means that no one can lift a chair and use it as a weapon, or move a chair so that the person having a seat will fall, or easily remove the seats from their designated areas. The common frame is connected to the floor of the structure so in order to move the seats you will need tools, and extra people to help you carry their weight.
