Rita Ora Ready for Fifty Shades of Grey: Celeb Arrives in Vancouver to Start Fil

You already know that English songwriter and singer, Rita Ora is a part of the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” movie, but what you might not know is that the “R.I.P” hit maker is now in Vancouver, all ready to start her share of the shooting. She will be playing the role of Mia Grey, the adopted sister of Christian Grey. Though this would not be her first stint in acting, as she has already appeared in movies such as “Spivs” and “Fast and Furious 6”, this role will ensure that she has bigger experiences to boast of. Her presence, many think, will bring a certain amount of celebrity aura to the movie. We couldn’t agree more.

She was spotted recently at the Vancouver airport, in a leopard printed coat and red puckers. With the news of her breakup with boyfriend, celebrity DJ Calvin Harris after only 9 months of dating doing the rounds, we surely hope that this opportunity cheers her up. She was among the last one of the celebrities to be signed onto this venture, and as her selection was made final, she proudly took to Twitter to announce this news to her fans and followers, herself. With many celebrities already joining this big screen adaptation of the titillating novel written by British author Erica James, you can be sure that Vancouver is the new Hollywood now. At least till the shooting lasts, that is.

When we talk about the shooting in Vancouver, we cannot but deny the fact there were rumours floating all around saying that the venue of the shooting has changed and the cast and crew of the fifty shades of grey movie were actually shooting in Miami. This cannot be denied since there were talks that some portion of the shooting would take place in Miami, to beat the chill brought in by the polar vortex, and also because the skyline of downtown Miami, resembles the skyline of downtown Vancouver, a lot.

The big screen adaptation of the raunchy and racy novel based on the BDSM fetishes of a billionaire and his coy partner, a college graduate, also boasts of celebrity names such as Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes and the works and if you have been following the gossip mongers regularly you would know that the name of Kristin Chenoweth also came up in all this hoopla. But the Tony award winning actress and singer is in fact in Vancouver on some unofficial business. She is the producer’s (Dana Brunetti) girl and just wants to meet him and hang out with him, so if you got all excited thinking that you would be able to watch two singers perform on the screen in the same venture, you should know how to curb your enthusiasm and be content with only Rita Ora.
