Blizz has basically taken away the outrageous

I totally agree that the pets & mounts & transmog items are way too expensive.  I wonder how much money that Blizz makes when they half the prices though as compared to when they have them at full price?buy gold on wow.Does $5 seem more reasonable when the price for a pet is "normally" $10?

That being said, their TCG cards for pets and mounts rarely sell for under $5 on the secondary market (e.g., eBay), and I've seen mounts for over $700 & pets for nearly $400.

Collector's editions sell for even more outrageous amounts with very little extra, and I put the blame for that on the "unique" pet inside.

Blizz has basically taken away the outrageous 2nd market prices (therefore keeping the profits) and made more of these unique items accessible to me if I so want them.The profit margin on all of these items is 100%.
