The 16th of February 2014 is going a grand day for all of Erica James’ and “Fifty Shades...” fans and followers. The author, who has created a trilogy that has left most of the readers sweating and panting for more, literally, of course, can be seen up, close and personal in her first Canadian book signing event. The author, who was the highest earning author last year, thanks to the “Fifty Shades...” trilogy, will be signing books at Chapters, which is located at 788, Robson Street, in the downtown core. The book signing event will take place at 2:00 p.m. on the 16th of this month.
The Chapters store has provided the following details about the book signing event:
Though the event will take place at 2:00 p.m., the fans and the followers can collect one of the 300 wristbands which will be distributed from 10:00 a.m. onwards, from the store, which is located in the downtown core, at 788, Robson Street.
If you happen to be a customer, among the first 100 customers, who purchases a hardcover book penned by the author, E.L. James, you stand a chance to receive a special wristband which will make sure that you become entitled to front of the line priority access.
A customer is entitled to receive only one wristband.
If you have a wristband, only then will you be allowed to stand in the signing line, and anyone without a wristband cannot accompany a customer who has one.
The line-up at the book signing event will be based on the principle of first-come, first-served and this is applicable only for customers who have a wristband. Among them, the first 100 customers in the priority access line will be followed by the next 200 customers with wristbands.
The author, Erica James will sign only upto three books penned by her, per customer. But the customers are free to choose any three books in the combination they like.
Erica James, will not personalise any more than one book per customer, and that too, first name only, and she will autograph the two other books.
Chapters store has also revealed that memorabilia or additional items such as posters, clothing, any other books, boxed set or any other item will not be signed by the author. The author will be present only for book signing.
The store has issued directives regarding photography at the event, and has said that no posed photos can and will be clicked, but the customers can take candid photographs.
