What was causing the Double XP unavailable?

Eric has written in his blog that the Double XP unavailable was caused by a bug, specifically, by two main reasons. The first one was that in certain group compositions, no experience was granted during a Flashpoint. The other reason is that the Kaut Drive Yards Flashpoint was awarding only normal experience for NPC kills, it was not being doubled. To delving into the further step, he said that a bug has to be fixed to recover the Double XP. However, due to the restrict rules of this event, maybe another round of this event is more practical. Players can look forward to another Double XP weekend soon.

How does the patch 2.6.2 fix this bug?

In the new update swtor patch 2.6.2, addressed performance issues within the Kaut Drive Yards Flashpoint. Players are no longer able to avoid Lord Modo’s attacks at certain locations within the command Platform scenario within Kuat Drive Yards. Players who are attempting to use droid-specific CC abilities on Support and Suppression Droids during the Station Guardian One scenario in Kuat Drive Yards no longer see an error message saying that these NPCs are not droids. During their encounter in the Dread Palace, the Dread Masters now properly cast Siphon Holocron every time they return to their throne.

In addition, resolved in an issue that prevented Flashpoint group members from getting experience if grouped with someone outside of the listed level range of the Flashpoint. Now, defeating level-appropriate enemies will grant experience regardless of group.
