Teen Mom 2 Cast Member Kailyn Lowry Has Baby Update News

Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry-Morroquin is coping pretty well, raising 2 sons, Isaac, 4, and Lincoln, 4 months. It seems Kailyn has truly managed to turn her life around since she first appeared on the second season of 16 & Pregnant. A long custody battle, an off-state move, a new baby, and a marriage later, the current Teen Mom 2 star is proud to announce a new tell-all book that narrates the story of her life long before the cameras.

Pride Over Pity is described as a raw, emotional memoir of the reality TV star's traumatic past, which includes her history with abuse, drugs, and rape, her sour relationships with her alcoholic mom and absentee father, and how she used these experiences to rise above the challenges. Kailyn hopes that the readers will understand her, her circumstances, and, the decisions she have made, a little better after reading her book.

Kailyn's book is not the first tell-all book to be written and released in association with MTV's series. 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom alumni Farrah Abraham also released her book, My Teenage Dream Ended way back in August 2012. My Teenage Dream Ended is a memoir that chronicles Farrah's pregnancy, the sudden, tragic death of her daughter's father, and how she conquered those circumstances.

Kailyn assures readers that her book is going to be much different than Farrah's, as it delves into many of her life-changing experiences, ranging from her stay at a homeless shelter, her experiences with bullying, her sexual past, and many other tell-all revelations. Here is an excerpt from the book:

"If I ever gaze at the past, I shudder. I shudder to count how many times I mistakenly thought I was loved. I quiver unpleasantly to recall the person I used to be and how I acted in some of my relationships. Looking back, it's not surprising that I turned to boys for love so early. I needed appreciation. I needed to feel worthy. Most of all, I needed support."

This, and so much more can be expected from the brave Teen Mom star's intimate biography, set to be released both digitally and in hard cover on April 22.
