Room heaters are extremely essential and useful when it comes to winters. Some
electronics like heaters, water heater and hot pad have made our lives simpler
especially in winters and thus they have been there in most of the households for
a long time now (they have been there in many different forms). Some of the top
companies are offering the best room heaters in India.
As much as they have made our lives comfortable, they have added one more
responsibility of using these electronics properly with all the precautions and
safety measures. Therefore, it becomes essential to know how to use a particular
appliance properly. In this article, we will talk about how to use room heaters
properly.

How to Use a Room Heater Properly
1. While placing the heater, make sure that it is not a rough surface. The
surface must be smooth and stable. Do not keep the heater on an
unbalanced table.
2. While using room heaters, make sure you do not have any inflammable
items or things that can easily catch fire near the heater. There must be
around 3 feet distance between the heater and any such object like
curtains, carpets etc.
3. Do not put the wire under carpets or rugs. Make sure to not step on it.
4. You should definitely not touch the heater with wet hands or when your
feet are wet. Make sure to dry them first before touching the heater.
5. Do not let the children within the radius of 3 feet. Make sure that they do
not come near the heater.
6. You must switch off the heater when leaving the room. Do not leave the
heater unattended at any time. At night, switch it off before you go top
sleep.
7. Remove the plug when the heater is not in use. This will ensure safety from
unwanted electric fires.

CONCLUSION
These were some of the tips that I considered to be useful. Please do keep these
precautions and points in mind before using a room heater. Take extra
precautions if you have children at home.
Make sure to read the manufacturer manual on how to use that particular room
heater. It will give you a specific idea of how to use that particular room heater
safely and in the best possible way.
