Young Rebelstar Prabhas will be seen in Adipurush, the adaptation of Ramayana. Prabhas will be seen essaying the role of Rama and the hunt for Sita is on. Taanhaji fame Om Raut is the director of this big-budget film which is planned to be completed on a span of a year. Prabhas allocated dates for six months and the shoot of Adipurush commences next year. Prabhas is currently busy with the shoot of Radhe Shyam and it will be completed by December this year.

The makers locked the release date of Adipurush. The film releases on August 11th 2022 marking the Independence Day weekend. More than half of the film’s budget is allocated for the VFX work and Prabhas would be taking home Rs 100 crores as remuneration for the movie. Om Raut will co-produce Adipurush along with T-Series and Retrophiles. Adipurush will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
