What are Laminated Chipboard Panels?

If something thicker than the maximum density of single-ply chipboard is required, then two or three pieces can be laminated together using PVA glue to produce a panel. This process ends up creating a very strong material.

What Sizes are the Panels Available in?

In terms of thickness, anything from 300micron (.3mm) up to 5000micron (5mm).

As for width and height: a maximum of 2000mm x 3200mm.

What can Laminated Chipboard Panels be used for?

They have many uses, such as:

Packaging. As on-line shopping for every conceivable product continues to grow, cheap packaging is becoming more and more important. Grey chipboard is ideal for this as it is light, has great strength, and can easily be moulded into different shapes and sizes of package. And, as it is made from one hundred percent recycled paper, very friendly to the environment.

Food and Beverages. Again due to its mixture of lightness and strength, the food service industry uses this material extensively to safely and hygienically store a wide variety of products.

Retail outlets. Many shops, supermarkets, and other retail outlets use these panels. Being sturdy, but also light, they can easily be moved around the store when, for instance, different products are on sale and the display areas need to be changed.

Book binding. As they can easily be printed or covered with material, these panels are popular in the book binding sector. They are used in scrapbooks, notepads, binders, calendars, frames, and in many other “book” products.
