Sinisa Naric for safe banking system

It’s not surprising fact that the banking industry has been one of the early adopters of technology. Safety and security in banking is of paramount importance. After all, banks deal with others’ money and even if a single customer feels that their money is not safe with their bank, there could be massive repercussions. Therefore, for any bank it is important that they have state of the art technology systems to take care of their customers’ safety requirements. In the Bosnian banking system, an important name that always comes up in terms of banking technology is that of Sinisa Naric’s.

Sinisa Naric is a well known name in the Bosnian banking domain. Born in February 1982 in Bosnia, Naric always showed a penchant for information technology. The blooming of his talent came late because when he was growing up, Bosnia & Herzegovina was trying to carve its identity as a nation. The Bosnian War ended in 1995 and the repercussions of the war were felt all over the country. The entire country was struggling to come out of the rubbles of the war and nothing seemed to be in place. However, the central banking system was conceived in 1997 and this is when the financial situation of the country started taking shape. And this is when Naric showed the worth of his technological bent of mind.

There are some people that can look at a computer program and they can almost instinctively find out about the code that generated the program. Sinisa Naric is among such people. From an early age he showed a lot of promise, but his father always wanted to wait and watch. As it is, the priorities at that time were different. People all over the country were struggling to make ends meet and this wasn’t the time when education and technology had any sort of priority. But Naric’s father always kept supporting his child because somewhere in the back of his mind there was this feeling that his son was destined for something great.

After graduating from college at the top of his class, Sinisa Naric joined one of the private banks in the country. Although he was posted in the IT division, there was not much that he had to do. The bank used very basic IT infrastructure and it was more of maintenance job that Naric had to look at. But, in a way this job profile helped him. He started to think about ways to make the system better and more productive. He drafted a proposal and submitted to the board. To his amazement, the board approved his proposal and gave him the green signal to proceed.

Sinisa Naric completely transformed the IT system in his bank and went on to occupy a top position in the central bank of the country, where he is still posted. He has completely transformed the way banking is done in Bosnia & Herzegovina and is deemed as one of the innovators of the modern banking system in the country.
