I Forgot the Password to Unlock the Screen! How to unlock?

If you made a mistake in setting your password or screen unlock pattern, or you had your mind swept by aliens, sometimes you just can't remember the PIN number on the screen unlock pattern for your phone. Here are your options for getting your device back.

What to do if you forgot your Android phone's unlock password / pattern?

Fortunately, Android has a built-in protection mechanism. All you need to do is enter your access code incorrectly five times. Once you do, you should see a new button appear at the bottom of the screen that says "Forgot your password?" or something similar. So, you should just be able to enter the credentials of the Google account linked to your phone and it will ask you to create a new password. Make sure you remember that this time around, maybe even writing it down somewhere is a good idea not to forget. Of course, this assumes that you remember your Google password. It will not work if you have had complete amnesia. A new application, FRP Lock APK, is released to unlock your android device.

A second option to unlock your Android when you forget your password

Unfortunately, the official Google method is known to have some serious problems in the past, such as not working for everyone. If you find that the Google method doesn't work, you have another option. The free Screen Block Bypass app will bypass the phone's lock screen every time you turn it on, so you don't need to enter the access code anymore. However, it will not disable the password, it will simply ignore it. We don't recommend it as a long-term solution, but you can use it to get back to your device and back up your apps before changing your device's lock password.

But how to install if you do not have access to the main screen of the device? Simply log into the Play Store web interface on any computer with your Google account that is linked to your device and install the app to your device. Then install another app and Screen Lock Bypass will start automatically, allowing you to wake up your phone without a lock screen. It will also run whenever you restart your phone so that you can turn off your phone and still access your data. Again, you will need your Google credentials to enter the Play Store, so malefactors and amnesiacs will not be able to use this method.

If you uninstall it, you'll have to deal with the lock pattern again, although, like I said, now it would be a good idea to back up your apps and data and wipe your phone.

What to do if you forgot your Windows Phone password?

Windows Phone 8 has a password lock feature. You can lock your phone screen with a password so that your device is protected and no one uses it. If you forgot your screen lock password, you have a few options to unlock your Windows Phone.

Usually, setting up a Microsoft, Live, Hotmail or Outlook account with Windows Phone 8 is done the moment you start the device for the first time. Unfortunately, you cannot use this user account and password to unlock the screen. You have to log in to correct the password to unlock the screen. You cannot modify or update the lock screen password outside of your phone.

You have to reset your phone to its factory settings to unlock. There is no other way to reset the screen lock password. If you reset your phone to factory settings, you will lose all data, such as photos, videos, contacts, sms, etc. If you have cloud backup enabled, you can restore backup data after restarting Windows Phone.

How to unlock on Windows Phone?

You cannot use soft reset as you cannot pass the lock screen. You need to do what we call a hard reset using the volume and power hardware keys. It is very easy to hard reset Windows Phone. It doesn't take long to restore the phone. Remember that different devices may have different keys for the Hard Reset.

Another way is using Find My Phone on the Windows Phone website with the Erase / Erase tool. You can remotely erase or reset your phone by logging into your Windows Phone account on Microsoft's Windows Phone website.

Go to the Windows Phone website -> Find my phone / Find My Phone and log in with your Microsoft, Hotmail, Xbox Live or Outlook account that you used on your Windows Phone. You can do this on your computer. You will see the option to delete the phone. Microsoft sends an SMS message to your phone to delete your phone.

If you have push notifications turned on in “Settings> Find My Phone / Find my phone> Send apps to my phone using push notifications (not SMS) / Send apps to my phone using push notifications (not SMS), you can delete the phone if you have Wi-Fi on your phone and don't need a cell phone signal. Your device will then return to the factory settings. You will have to configure your phone again.
