Autism is a brain disorder which mainly affects communication, cognition and social skills in children. So prevalent is this disorder that, currently 1 in 68 people are associated with autism in some form or another. This increased prevalence and also increased awareness has resulted in the formation of various support organizations and autism centres’ worldwide. These institutions are striving hard to search for the cures for autism and to answer the question in all parents' minds - is there a cure for autism yet? 

Worldwide, there are thousands of organizations which provide support to families with autistic children. These are groups that provide consultation, therapy sessions, and information about autism to all worried and concerned parents.
