Facebook MySpace Bot - Can it Text? Can it Chat? Can it Join Groups?Posted by Lawrence Munk on February 3rd, 2021 We are now nearing the final Stretch Goals, and one of the first Stretch Goals was to have a "Bots" chat bot that you could set up in Facebook. We've talked about how cool having your Bot appear as an icon on your friends list would be, but we also want to have some more options for our Bot messages. Can Himalayan Salt Increase Your Chances of High Blood Pressure? is, in all the tests that we've run, we haven't been able to make it send any pre-written text or voice messages from one of the many preset message prompts that Facebook offers. So, since we know you all want to be able to customize your Bot so that it becomes a part of your social networking world, here's what we're going to do: First, I've included a short code inside my Bot for you to enter in your IP address and enable your Bot to use Facebook's built in text and voice features. I realize that setting up your Bot this way may seem a bit risky, given that Facebook recently changed their main IP servers and you could easily be attacked while using Bot. Therefore, we recommend that you use the Facebook Bot Messenger rather than the Facebook Bot Messenger. And, if you really want to go through with setting up Facebook as your Bot, you can easily find a Facebook Bot developer that will do this for you for a small monthly fee. Then, all you have to do is input your IP and Facebook Bot ID so that your Bot can join your community and interact with the MySpace community, and all the other community features available on Facebook. So, in essence, the new Facebook MySpace Bot should be able to... text, chat, send messages and join groups. The big thing is that we wanted to add some kind of functional capabilities to our Bot, so that users would want to have some kind of interaction with their Facebook Machines. You should be able to use your Bot as a status update, a quick text to your friends, or even as a mini web browser.
