children and adults can conjure up their own wigs

The ear is not in it! "A handle of make-up artist Markus Moser, and the wig in the style of Star Trek sits. The bald mask is dominated by the huge ears and a small trunk, and once belonged to the opera "Hoffmanns Erzählungen". The visitors at the Theaterfest of the Wuppertaler stages have a lot of fun to try out the different wigs and costumes.

All of the works on the stage are shown around the opera house, while the artists and the theater at the Engelsgarten perform. "The make-up artists had only 30 seconds to transform into an extraterrestrial," says Markus Moser. With up to nine colleagues, he can stand behind the stage in these cases, in order to spot winds lady gaga wig, stuck wigs, or use artificial teeth.

Or the wig with the 1.5 meter long plait weighing 2.5 kilos alone: "This was always a bother to get back together." Such details are the fascination of the theater festival.

Next door, children and adults can conjure up their own wigs: from plain newspaper paper, cut into stripes with zigzag scissors and partially waved to knurls, they stick baroque hairstyles or striking hair towers.

The illuminators present themselves in the orchestral rehearsal room. The impressive dress from the Universum-Couture with 700 luminous incandescent bulbs attracts visitors magically. "This was a heathen work," says Fredy Deisenroth best hair wig, head of lighting.
