TikTok is a short video app that has grown into a social community with millions of users and even more videos. The platform plays host a wide array of content that showcases the talent of individuals from the deepest pockets of India. And let’s face it, some of the videos are downright hilarious, and can entertain you while you travel to work.

If you’re looking to beat those boring Monday Blues or simply ‘turn that frown upside down’, there’s no better place to be than on TikTok. The video sharing platform has a huge collection of videos which will make you ‘Laugh Out Loud’; literally. Here’s a collection of five of the funniest TikTok videos that’ll put the ‘H’ in humour.

Naïve Steve

Firstly, ‘Someone like you’ is an excellent song and there’s nothing funny about it, but an “Adele – Gummy Bear Concert” on TikTok is pretty impressive. This next user successfully manages to replace the Gummy Bears with what appear to be wine corks, but Steve didn’t get that mem, and his grand plan begins to unravel. Here’s the original video for some context –

Punjabi Kitty

No list of funny – even on TikTok – is complete without Daler Mehndi and his glorious melody ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’; okay maybe that’s overstating it, but still. This video shows you that no matter how much you try to stop it, your desi spirit won’t be able to resist this song.

Websplaining

An unlikely source of entertainment on TikTok, ‘Websplaining’ is a series of ‘honest’ series videos posted on Funny Or Die’s TikTok account. We said ‘honest’, I think we meant ‘hilarious’. The videos offer an in-depth analysis into routines, traditions and beliefs that are a part of everyday life.

I Hate Love Kids

The ‘KayaPalat’ hashtag is currently trending on TikTok. For the unaware, this hashtag comes from the award-winning film ‘Kaya Palat’. A doctor in the film played by someone,
invents a drug that transforms children into adults and vice versa. And, while we can’t say for sure how a drug like that will work, this video we found on TikTok does show us how children control their parents.

How to Mankad like a Pro

The IPL 2019 season may have concluded but TikTok remembers what the happened when the Northern houses of Punjab and Rajasthan met. TikTok remembers how Ravichandran Ashwin stumped Jos Butler from behind, giving us one of the tournament’s most memorable moments and reminding the world ‘Mankading’ was still an integral part of the game?
