What’s the Difference Between CBD Oil and E-liquids?

Posted by Emily Ledger on January 19th, 2021

The use of CBD has become prevalent throughout the world. This plant has therapeutic properties because it is used in various medications, cosmetics, and other remedies. CBD is available in several forms, including creams, tablets, chewable gummies, etc. All these products make use of CBD oil in their composition.

Many companies have started developing other cannabis-related products as well, and vaping or E-liquids is one of them. The process of vaping makes the use of a liquid and is a little different from CBD oil.

This article covers a difference between the two:

CBD oil products are made using a combination of CBD extract with food-grade oil. Some of the most common food-grade oil used in these products are hemp oil, commonly oil, or coconut oil. Some oils also include flavors that make it more tasteful when CBD is consumed in such a form. These products are meant for oral consumption or topical application, and they are not designed to be exposed to high heat for vaporization. If these products or such CBD oil is used for vaping, it may pose harmful effects to your overall health.

When it comes to vape, E-liquids are used to execute the idea. These liquids are made using an extract of CBD. Alongside this, a thinning agent such as MCT, PG, or VG is also used to make E-liquids for vaping. These ingredients make sure that the liquid is not too thin and could be vaporized effectively. This process helps to produce a clean vaping ingredient that is perfect for inhalation.

It is essential to mention that CBD oils that are otherwise not designed for vaping also include some amount of MCT for the process of thinning. But this doesn't mean that such oils are safe for vaping. To make an effective or safe e-liquid, the agents must have the correct quantity or proportions.

The culture of CBD consumption and CBD vaping is rising each day. Although CBD doesn’t lead to serious side-effect on the body, we advise you to have a word with your doctor before you start consuming it.
