Some of us spend years hearing we are not skinny enough, smart enough, or tough enough. But here's the truth. WE ARE. We just don't see it. And until we truly SEE it, we live in a vicious cycle of hating our bodies while we fill it with junk because of how we feel. (The same goes for the mind by the way.) So, today, here are three ways to practice more self-love. Be kinder to yourself. Show yourself compassion. May you use these to give your body, mind, and soul the love it needs. 1. Use AffirmationsCheck out these self-love affirmations for beautiful sayings you can say every morning in front of the mirror. Just a few seconds of your time will begin to rewire your brain and change the way you think about yourself. 2. Thank Your BodyDevelop a short routine where you go through the parts of your body and say thank you. It may be difficult at first! But this doesn't have to take a long time, and a little bit of praise goes a long way towards telling yourself that you're beautiful. 3. Try a Kindness Meditation-or a happiness or peace meditation. Not only are you giving yourself the gift of self-love by stopping to meditate, but these meditations focus on loving yourself and others. With consistent practice, you'll see a world of difference.
