General ophthalmology knives are miniature versions of conventional scalpel blades. Some of these knives have refinements in shape to make them functionally superior.

Our Sharpedge brand General ophthalmology knives are manufactured using imported surgical grade stainless steel material. They offer a wide array of designs. This gives the surgeon the flexibility to choose the appropriate design that suits his/her surgical technique. General ophthalmology knives are available in Classicline.

General ophthalmology knives are packed as:

  1. Non-Sterile tips: These blades are to be used with appropriate Sharpedge brand stainless steel/titanium handles and need to be sterilized before use. We recommend these to be sterilized using autoclave or ETO sterilization process. Available in Classicline.

  2. Sterile tips: These blades are supplied ETO sterile and are to be used with appropriate Sharpedge brand stainless steel/titanium handles. Available in Classiline.

  3. Sterile Full Handled knives: These convenient to use ETO sterile knives come fixed with a polycarbonate handle and are ready to use. Available in Classiline.
