New South Wales is one of Australia’s most popular states for good reason as it has incredible schools, plenty of entertainment options and some top-notch vacation spots. If you are taking in the best student housing Sydney has at Be. Accommodation, you will be able to explore all that the area has to offer when you have downtime from studying. Whenever you need a break during holiday or just a small day trip over the weekend, you should check out these great locations.

Here are four great places outside Sydney you can visit in New South Wales:

Blue Mountains
If you drive two hours west of Sydney, you will find yourself at the wondrous Blue Mountains. This mountain range has some incredible sights and plenty of fun activities to fill up a weekend stay. If you want to see the best views from this World Heritage-listed area, then you’ll want to book a Scenic World Experience, which will allow you to go on an incredible tour on the Scenic Cableway. There are also plenty of excellent places to stay on the mountains, which makes it an ideal location for a weekend away from the city.

Thredbo
During the winter months, you should consider going to one of New South Wales’ top ski resorts. We recommend checking out Thredbo, which is a lovely village in the Snowy Mountains. Whether you are already an expert at snowboarding or not, you can sign up for lessons and programs that will allow you to have a great time. The base of the mountain is where the village is located, which has plenty of great spots for food and everything you could want ranging from bars to shops and accommodation.

Hunter Valley
If you want to check out some of the finest wineries in the entire world and eat at critically acclaimed restaurants, then you will want to visit Hunter Valley. From its great hotels to incredible shops, you won’t find a better example of high living. Hunter Valley is just a two hour drive north of Sydney, and there are plenty to do there including winery tours, spas and hot air balloon trips. When you truly deserve a relaxing vacation in order to rejuvenate and get back to your university work, you can’t do much better.

North Coast
Finally, we want to highlight the North Coast as a great holiday location in New South Wales. Sydney locals love visiting its great beaches and some of the top locations include Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. There is plenty of culture to take in and you can either choose to stay in one place or take a road trip to visit several destinations.

The great thing is that all four of these great locales are just a few hours’ drive away from the stellar Student Housing in Sydney that Be. Accommodation offers.
