Before the world of the web and Facebook, life was so simple. You wished to speak with a pal, you picked up the telephone and called them. Pick the drink you intend to send, type in some information (which I'm assuming is name, the other person's cellphone number, etc), and record an individual video. This is actually the part where you could be "social" and say hello to your friend and hope they benefit from the refreshing Pepsi. After all instructions are finished, your unsuspecting friend will receive a text message telling him to visit his nearest interactive Pepsi machine to redeem his free drink. When you redeem, granted there is one of these drink vending machines nearby, just follow the steps and type in your code, watch your video, and enjoy your refreshment. The last option is in fact the one that is most admirable. Random acts of refreshment enables you to send drinks to strangers. But it isn't like winning the lotto. The drinks are sent to someone who is in need, like a one who lives in a city just struck by a tornado or a hurricane. Although read more would rather have a new house when compared to a new Pepsi, the good intention remains, and that counts for something. Who would have thought drink vending machines could become so complicated? Pepsi has, no doubt, put a lot of cash into these new machines so we can also expect an increase in cost. But I suppose this is the price you pay, literally, to be social nowadays.
