Personal Review of DeWalt DC390B 6.5?? 18-Volt Cordless Circular Saw

When you are looking for circular saws for sale, you will find market filled with so many options that choosing one of them would become a really difficult decision for you but when you are in hunt for high quality cheap saws for sale, the list narrows down quite a bit. There are not many great options to begin with. I was initially looking for something made by Skil as they are renowned for making premium quality saws at value prices but then my eyes stopped at DeWalt DC390B which tempted me for many reasons.

I will not lie, I love my DeWalt DC390B. I purchased this saw to compliment the Drill and Driver dual-battery pack (DC970K-2) I acquired independently. I would like to add that I purchased this saw as a bare tool without any blades or batteries. However, my combo is an extraordinary expansion. I'm exceptionally content with the manufacture quality, and sensibly content with its execution.

What Works in Favor of this Circular Saw?

  • Well outlined and adjusted. It feels incredible in my grasp. The weight is flawless - sufficiently overwhelming not to bob around when I slice but rather sufficiently light to be anything but difficult to utilize with a single hand.
  • I truly like that it doesn't "free turn" in the wake of cutting the power – this adds to the safety features of this saw.
  • The left-mounted saw blade configuration makes it simple to see what I'm cutting through.
  • The toss for the sharp edge is put away on the handle. That is a decent feature for specialists like me who just need to change the saw blade rarely and may somehow forget about it.

What Works Against this Circular Saw?

  • The major culprit here is batter. As anyone might expect, this saw utilizes a great deal of force. In my true usage, I'm ready to cut around 15 deck sheets before expecting to swap the 18 Volt NiCad battery. While not amazing, it is a touch of disillusioning. Nonetheless, with the second battery to charge while I utilize the other one, I've never had an issue. I'm as of now utilizing the 1-hour charger that accompanied the drill, and the battery generally shows it's prepared to go again in less than 15 minutes. Maybe my general experience would have been exceptional on longer charges in perfect temperature settings. Sooner or later, I plan to move up to the 18 Volt XPR line, which will likewise work with this saw.

Note that this unit additionally does exclude a case. Don't sweat it, since great quality Craftsman instrument sacks are frequently at a bargain for or less.

In case your requirements are similar to me, then I emphatically recommend safety eyewear when utilizing this saw. It's so lightweight and effective that I frequently snatch it for little complete cuts where I'd conventionally have gotten a jigsaw and, given the power of this blade in examination, those bits of scrap wood shoot-off in capricious ways.
