FIFA 16: what is your favourite formation and whyPosted by james bonds on December 5th, 2015 It was my favorite last year and is still my favorite this year. It allows you to use a very attacking CAM, and two well rounded CMs without being exposed much at the back with top fifa coins. I used to think having a specific CDM was vital, but with how hard it is to get them to always stay back I see no reason anymore to not just use two box to box CMs who have enough pace to track back. It also allows you to keep those tidy little passing triangles in every part of the pitch which is vital this year, while also having wingers who can burn down the sideline. I was experimenting with the 451 a bit, and it was great for attacking, but the same problem of having your more defensive mid always going to far up just made it very frustrating if you couldn't score as many because it was always open to counter attacks. I still use it occasionally for the fitness games in online single matches just because it is so fun to all out attack sometimes when the result isn't such a big deal. For 4321, I feel like it's superior to 433. Your lf and rf dont get isolated and they link up well with both your striker and your midfielders. When you have wingers, they get stuck out on the wings and crossing this year hasn't worked for me so I have to spend time cutting inside anyway. Might as well have them closer to the box to get into finishing positions quicker. As for 41212, I mostly use it I can fit all the beast serie a midfielders in. With so many midfielders, you can control custom tactics so they all bunch up and essentially you can dominate the midfield. 3-5-2 for me, i just feel like it gives the most options.. if you wanna do wingplay you can do that, if you wanna through ball it to a striker you have 2 of FIFA 16 Points, if you wanna tiki taka you can play one playmaking cdm like fernandinho and you can do that as well. The only small problem I have with it is you can get counter attacked if you dont watch out for it Like it? Share it!More by this author |
