Heartbleed bug

The Heartbleed bug left everyone in a shock; it was hard to imagine that the tool used to secure the internet was in itself carrying a bug that allowed one to access confidential user information. While it  was still in raw in our minds it was followed by a new bug discovered in Cloudflare edge servers. The bug named Cloudbleed  turned out to be  a serious bug. Although not as deadly as Heartbleed, Cloudbleed is terminal if left unchecked. This bug was found to have existed in Cloudflare servers without them being aware for a long time though it had not manifested due to the conditions that were there at that point. It, however, soon shown its ugly mark and had to be patched swiftly. Cloudflare was quick; taking 44 minutes to fix the patch and 7 hours to finish the bug.
