The covering agent mentioned in the title is a kind of refractories. It is a particulate carbonized rice husk covering agent, which includes 44-52% bran shell powder, 29-33% vermiculite, 9-11% cement clinker and 7.8-8.5% cassava flour, also includes 2.5-3.5% expanded graphite. It’s characterized to improve the thermal expansion coefficient of the covering agent.

The particulate carbonized rice husk covering agent is in ball shape, particle size is 3mm-10mm, to ensure the spreadability. This kind of covering agent has quite good coverage density and uniformity of spreading, to guarantee its good insulation effect, which is widely used in small and large Tundish.
