Tudor Pelagos FXD: a Black US Navy edition

Posted by lifata on November 9th, 2023

Tudor, a manufacturer belonging to the Rolex group, offers in its catalog mainly two collections of fake watches uk for diving enthusiasts: Black Bay and Pelagos. If it was at the end of 2021 that Tudor lifted the veil on the Pelagos FXD, its expert diver designed in partnership with the French Navy, it is a new Pelagos FXD, this time in partnership with the US Navy.

On the case side, the Pelagos FXD called Navy and Pelagos FXD called US Navy are identical. We still find a titanium case measuring 42 mm in diameter, with a satin finish, and with fixed bars machined from the mass (hence the name FXD, FiXeD in English). The caseback is solid and does not have any inscriptions mentioning the US Navy (just like on the dial).

It is at the bezel level that we can first notice changes. It is on the new rotating Pelagos FXD, unidirectional in titanium with a ceramic insert and 60 minute graduation, and with Super‑LumiNova grade X1. It was previously bidirectional.

The dial is also different. Here it is matte black with applied indexes filled with Super‑LumiNova grade X1 luminous material. The PELAGOS inscription is now in red. The dial was blue on the previous Pelagos FXD. Note that the caliber is the same on all Pelagos FXDs, namely a Manufacture caliber MT5602, certified by the COSC with silicon hairspring and 70 hours of power reserve.

One last detail to differentiate this new Tudor fake diver: the bracelet. Offered here is a one-piece forest green fabric bracelet with Velcro and red band. A second additional one-piece rubber strap with fabric pattern is also included.
