The factors that stop slide gate plate from being used continuously

1.Flames or yellow smoke appear from the side of sliding mechanism when burning the nozzle with oxygen;

2.Bright line is spotted between slide gate plate and nozzle or between upper and lower slide gate plate;

3.There is steel in between upper and lower slide gate plate or the diameter of nozzle is more than 6mm wider, or there is obvious cracks on the slide gate plate;

4.The slide gate plate has been out of use for over 2 hours;

5.Nozzle has been filled with steel slag and then dredged by oxygen burning;

6.For certain kind of steel, such as high manganese or with high oxygen, slide gate plate can be only used for one heat;
