No matter what your favorite activity, the Caribbean has something for you. There are Caribbean activities for everyone, from unbelievable marine life, to never-ending mountainous terrain. You can explore dense tropical rainforests, or take in the fascinating, rich native culture. The islands vary from tranquil, serene landscapes to bustling party hubs, and there is an endless amount of history to take in.

Caribbean activities offer the chance to experience the true meaning of adventure ? you can bike or hike around a wide range of island trails, explore the rainforest, or visit national parks to enjoy the wildlife. You can go snorkeling or diving to enjoy the deep blue waters and get close to more varieties of fish than you ever knew existed, or, if swimming is not your thing, you can take in the views from a boat.

And for the ones who like less adventure and more of sunbathing, what could be better than the numerous Caribbean beaches. So, sun bathe at the picturesque heart shaped Magens Bay on St. Thomas or the Orient Beach on St. Martin. For golf lovers, there are a number of world renowned golf courses. Some of these golf courses have been designed by some of the greats of golf world. And if you are thinking of less energetic pastimes you can opt for other Caribbean activities like visiting museums, sugar mills bearing marks of history, distilleries of rum and plantations.

If you are traveling alone then you can hop from activity to activity as you wish. If you are traveling with your family then it may be a good idea to speak to a travel agent and make sure your chosen resort will meet the needs of all family members. Speak to your family first and make sure that they will all enjoy the vacation ? a little planning in advance should make it easy to meet everyone's needs and expectations.

Scuba diving is one of the most popular Caribbean activities, and it is something that every visitor to the Caribbean should try. There are few locations in the world as suitable for scuba diving as the Caribbean, with its clear waters, and calm weather. No matter what time of year you visit, scuba diving will be available, and there are a variety of sites, some of which are more popular with tourists, and others offering you the chance to experience scuba diving the way the locals do it.

It is up to you how you choose to engage in scuba diving, and both ways will give you an experience you will never forget. Whatever you do, you can be sure that you will have an exhilarating experience, and most likely you will want to return to the Caribbean again and again.
