The restaurant food again is good, again very much what you have the right to expect from a Four Seasons, but delightful and atmospheric as the hotel is, you are in Sultanahmet in the middle of Istanbul and this position is probably the best thing of all. Being right in the heart of the old city there is a lot of hustle and bustle outside but thanks to good insulation the hotel is very quiet. Even the early morning call to prayer from the mosques seems to be toned down quite considerably.

The Four Seasons Sultanahmet just fits in so well with the local scene, and you don?t need to travel more than a few minutes to see the best of what old Istanbul has to offer.
