Diabetes is a long-term disease which causes high blood sugar levels.Most common symptoms of diabetes include intense thirst, never gone hunger, weight gain, unusual

weight loss, frequent urination, numbness and tingling in body especially in hands and feet, cuts and injuries that do not heal.

Diabetes is a condition where people are not able to produce enough insulin to meet their body's needs due to which their body cells also don't respond properly to

insulin.

Insulin is important for our body because it moves glucose, a simple sugar, into the body's cells from the blood. It also has a many of other effects on metabolism.

Diabetes is mainly of 2 type:

* Type 1 diabetes
* Type 2 disbetes

Type 1 diabetes:occurs when the pancreas cannot make insulin. Everyone who is suffering with type 1 diabetes requires insulin injections.

Type 2 diabetes:occurs when the pancreas does not make enough insulin or the body does not use insulin properly. It usually occurs in adults, although in some cases

children may be affected. People with type 2 diabetes usually have a family history of this condition and are most often overweight. People with type 2 diabetes may

eventually need insulin injections.People with type 2 diabetes may eventually need insulin injections.

Diabetes is a chronic condition associated with abnormally high levels of sugar (glucose) in the blood. Insulin produced by the pancreas lowers blood glucose. Absence

or insufficient production of insulin, or an inability of the body to properly use insulin causes diabetes.

While diabetes cannot technically be cured, it can go into remission. Medically speaking, there is no cure for diabetes but it can go into "remission." Diabetes in

remission simply means the body does not show any signs of diabetes. However, the disease is technically still thereDiabetic mice under physical or mental stress have

elevated glucose levels. ... Physical stress, such as illness or injury, causes higher blood glucose levels in people with either type of diabetes. It's easy to find

out whether mental stress affects your glucose control.

What body parts are affected by stress?:

Immune system. Constant stress can make you more likely to get sick more often.Heart. Stress is linked to high blood pressure, abnormal heartbeat (arrhythmia), blood

clots, and hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis)

Signs and Symptoms of Diabetes

The symptoms of diabetes occur because some or all of the glucose stays in the blood, and isn’t being used as fuel for energy. The body tries to reduce blood glucose

levels by flushing the excess glucose out of the body in the urine.

The common signs and symptoms of diabetes include

Increased frequency of urination, especially at night
Frequently feeling thirsty
Weakness and fatigue
Unexplained loss of weight
Genital itching or thrush
Blurred vision
Increase in healing time of cuts and wounds
