3.  Figure out the kind of grip you want to use for your play, one that is more comfortable for you. You may find “penhold” grip more comfortable while another person may find the “shakehands” grip more comfortable. Select the racket based on the kind of grip which is preferable for you.

4.  Look at different rubber textured paddles to change the way you handle the ball. Textured paddles give additional traction and can make a big difference the playing. If you are a player that uses a lot of spinning technique, textured paddles are not recommended for you.
