Here are some of the important questions that a video animator must ask before taking any clients.

  1.       Understand The Scope of The Project

The first thing that you need to keep in your knowledge is that what the scope of the client’s project is. Understand the company’s profile, and learn about their target audience. You should know what the business of the company, who are their consumers, why they want this project, what the purpose of creating this project is.

  1.       Have You Ever Took the Explainer Video Animation Services Before?

Ask the clients whether they have any experience of availing the explainer video services before. You should know how their experience was, and why they are not availing the service from the same company again, or from the freelance animator, they hired before.

  1.       Did You Take the Freelance Service or Hired Any Explainer Videos Companies?

There are many freelance video animators that have ruined the experience of the clients with the quality they provide. Clients do not rely on the professional explainer videos companies that easily due to their bad experience. Ask them about the issues they had faced previously with the freelance video animation service or the explainer video animation they hired for creating their videos.

  1.       What Is The Deadline of Your Project?

You should know the timeline to judge whether you will be able to complete the project within the required time or you will need more time to complete the project. If you think that the timeline that the clients are providing is unrealistic ask them to extend the deadline for your convenience so that you can provide quality to them.

  1.       What Is Your Budget For This Project?

You must know how much they are willing to pay for availing the services from you. Match the requirements and every feature with the budget they are quoting and see for yourself if they are talking justly or there is a need to demand them to increase their budget to bring the level of justification.

  1.       Is There Any Specific Instruction Need to Follow In The Project?

Ask the clients if there is any special guideline or instruction that is needed to be followed in the project. Many clients tend to provide a few specific details to add in their video animations. Ask for the notes, and be careful to take care of them while creating the explainer videos for them.

  1.       When Will You Make The Payments?

Ask them when they will pay you the amount. Whether they will pay you in advance, or after the completion of the project. Some clients adopt the strategy to pay the animators half of the cost in advance and pays the rest after the completion of the project. Make sure which procedure of payment is convenient for your client.
