3 Ways to Entertain This FallPosted by ABT on November 15th, 2018 Fall is one of the greatest times of year. The weather is finally cool enough to enjoy yourself, but no so cold that you can’t even go outside. If you love entertaining, you know that fall is the best time of year to do it. If you feel like you’re running out of ideas for entertaining this fall, check out these three suggestions. 1. BonfiresIf you live in the country, or a place where your backyard is big enough to have a fire pit, make sure you invite friends and family over for bonfires. This is a great fall tradition for many people. There is nothing better than sitting around a bonfire and talking to friends (and maybe enjoying a few adult drinks while you do so). If you do have bonfires, consider upping your game a little bit by adding an outdoor speaker, so your guests can enjoy music while they hang out. 2. Halloween PartiesHalloween is no longer just a holiday for children. We all love dressing up and having fun. Throw a Halloween party for you and your friends this year to add a little extra fun to your fall. You don’t necessarily have to have a costume party, but it does add to the fun. For an extra level of fun, have a costume contest with you and your friends. Vote on the best costume. You can offer prizes to the winner, such as gift baskets, candy, or gift cards. This is a great way to get your family and friends together to enjoy Halloween. 3. Monday Night FootballFootball season is here, and that means there is a lot of celebrating to do. You don’t necessarily have to enjoy football to have fun at a football party. You can hang out with friends while the game is on and enjoy your time together. The best part about it is that football isn’t just on on Sundays. Having a little get together every Monday night to celebrate the football season (or to just hang out with your guests) is a great way to get everyone to come together. If you choose to host Monday night football parties, you might think that it could get expensive. However, if you set up your parties in a potluck fashion, you can save yourself time and money. Have every guest bring one dish to your football parties, and you’d be amazed at some of the great dishes that will come to your house. If you love fall, make sure you up your bonfire game by adding an outdoor speaker system to your backyard. Additionally, throwing a Halloween party or hosting Monday night football parties are great ways to get everyone together. Like it? Share it!More by this author |
